Hello. I am Irma Mejía. People know me as Mima. And today I want to tell you about a project that was born in the heart of this café.
What is it about? This project is called How Can I Help You? And why is it called that? Because we want to bring to life what already happens in real life. Normally, with any friend, with any family member, we ask — Do you know someone who cuts hair? Do you know someone who can help with my garden? Walk my dogs? What school do you recommend? Who can watch my children? Someone to help around the house? We're always asking for a recommendation.
And so, we want to unite technology with something very important: human contact and human trust. Because these days we can no longer know if an ad is real, if the person exists, if the place where they offer their services is actually there. We can no longer trust just a computer.
So what do we want to do? By uniting technology with human contact and Mima's team, we want to invite you to this new platform where you can do two things.
First, offer your services — and it doesn't need to be an established business. It can be anyone: a homemaker, someone with extra time. What can you offer? Math tutoring? Haircuts? House cleaning? Baking? Cooking? Transportation? Anything you can think of that someone might need.
This is a platform where you will be able to connect online and locally, so that we can validate that you really exist and that the services you offer are real. All on this new platform I am about to share with you.
Hello, Mima here again. In this second part I want to invite you to become part of this community.
How can you join? Using the link I'm sharing with you, you can register. I'd like to invite everyone who has a service, a business, or something to offer to the entire Riviera community.
There you'll be able to fill in your profile — where you're located, whether you have a business or are independent, and your general English level.
Once you've filled in your profile, we'll ask for your documents: your official government ID and proof of address. This is very important — it's part of the process to validate your identity. As we've said, the human contact and human validation aspect is what gives this project its value. It's about trust. Your data will be protected and used only for the purpose of recognizing and validating your identity.
Once you've uploaded your documents, you'll be able to schedule a brief interview with Mima. This is how we complete the process — validating your identity, confirming the services you offer, and finishing your profile so you can go live and start reaching customers who are looking for what you do.
I'm sharing the link where you can register — and please share it with your friends so they can join the same way. Thank you very much.
